Djibouti, officially the Republic of Djibouti, is a country located in the Horn of Africa in East Africa. It is bordered by Somalia in the south, Ethiopia in the south and west, Eritrea in the north, and the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden in the east. Across the Gulf of Aden lies Yemen. It’s an Islamic country, with French and Arabic using as official languages. Since its independence, the rapid development of the third industry have accelerated its pace of urbanization. Consequently, people living in the capital and areas in its vicinity account for approximately two thirds of the total population. Traffic and transportation, commerce and the service industry (particularly those related to ports) take the prominence in its economy, making about 80% of its GDP.
