Georgetown, Guyana
Georgetown is the capital of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana and the nation’s center of politics, economy, culture and traffics. The secretariat of Caribbean Community also sets in Georgetown. Wooden architects prevail in the city and many buildings still remain the style in the 18th and 19th centuries, likely because the city was first built by Holland colonists. Major resorts are National Independence Memorial Gate, City Hall, St. George’s Cathedral and so on. Guyana’s economy mainly relies on primary production, with bauxite, saccharose and rice being the three pillar industries. Its economy has seen increase amid its stable course.
