Founded in 2003, Fujian Yida Food Co., Ltd. is a designated large-scale enterprise integrating aquaculture, deep processing, and sales and trade of seafood. The company is committed to the high-value development of seafood products such as kelp, jellyfish, and abalone. It has introduced advanced production and processing equipment and comprehensive testing instruments, establishing excellent research and development conditions. The company has developed deep-processing production lines primarily for kelp, achieving significant breakthroughs and satisfactory market performance. 

It has successively established an expert workstation, an academician workstation, Fujian Province's first Kelp Science and Technology Yard, and a provincial-level science and technology commissioner service station. The company has been honored as the first enterprise in China to engage in marine fisheries carbon sink trading, a National High-Tech Enterprise, a Provincial Academician Workstation, and a Provincial Key Leading Enterprise. In January 2022, relying on the Xiamen Property Rights Exchange Center, Fujian Yida Food Co., Ltd. completed China's first marine carbon sink green transaction of 15,000 tons. In June 2023, it obtained the country's first Blue Carbon Certificate.
