Fujian-Indonesia Marine Food Joint R&D Center was jointly established by Bogor Agricultural University, IPMI International Business School, and Fujian Polytechnic Normal University.

According to a person-in-charge from Fujian Polytechnic Normal University, the university, based on the R&D center, will highlight industrial needs, strengthen resource integration, and enhance cooperation among industry, education, academia, and application. By doing these, the university will accelerate the production of a number of landmark research findings and their industrial application, so as to better promote the development of marine economy and food sector in Fujian Province.

It is learned that marine economy and food manufacturing are among the key industries in the development plan of the China-Indonesia Cooperation on “Two Countries, Twin Parks”.
