The 2nd Maritime Silk Road International Tea Culture Forum of 2021 to Be Held in Fuzhou

December 3 (fjsen.com/reported by Wu Xiaofang) -- To foster “Tea Culture, Tea Industry and Tea Science”, the 2nd Maritime Silk Road International Tea Culture Forum, themed “Aromas on the Maritime Silk Road Tea Passage”, will start in Fuzhou on December 6. By practicing the guiding principles of the 11th Congress of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, the Forum aims to advance rural vitalization, pubicize Fujian’s tea industry, and promote exchanges and mutual learning among Chinese and foreign tea cultures and the external communication of “Fujian Culture”.

Jointly guided by the Publicity Department of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, Fujian Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and Fujian Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the Forum is sponsored by Fujian Daily Agency, with the support of Foreign Affairs Office of the Fujian Provincial People’s Government, Agricultural and Rural Affairs Committee of the CPPCC Fujian Provincial Committee, China Tea Science Society, Chinese Tea Culture International Exchange Association, Cross-Strait Exchange Association of Tea, Fujian Provincial Tea Science Society, and Fujian Provincial Tea Circulation Association.

The Forum will be broadcast live simultaneously from both Fuzhou, Fujian (the main venue) and Tokyo, Japan (the sub-venue)”. 

A series of activites will be held, including the opening ceremony, the appointment ceremony of overseas publicists of the Maritime Silk Road Tea Culture, the release of blue paper on China’s Tea Industry, the award ceremony of the 2nd “Maritime Silk Road International Cup” Best Tea Competition, the thematic forum of “The Integration of Tea Culture, Tea Industry and Tea Science” and “Opening a new Chapter for Fujian’s Tea through the Millennium-long Maritime Silk Road”, Anxi’s Tea Culture Exhibition and Promotion Show, the tea culture seminar themed “Aromas on the Maritime Silk Road Tea Passage”, and the tea tasting salon. Mr. Liu Zhonghua, Professor of Hunan Agricultural University and Academician of the China Academy of Engineering, and Mr. Yang Jiangfang, Vice President of the Fujian Provincial Association for Science and Technology, academic leader in the national characteristic discipline of tea science, and professor of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, are invited to deliver keynote speeches in the Forum. 

On that day, diplomatic envoys to China from various countries, representatives of tea merchants, overseas Chinese, and foreigners in Fujian will attend the activities at the main venue in Fuzhou.
