July 13 (Fuzhou Evening News/ Reporter Guan Shu) - The Asian Museums Forum was held in Fuzhou, co-sponsored by Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Fujian Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and Fujian Provincial Bureau of Cultural Heritage, with the view to welcoming the Extended 44th Session of World Heritage Committee to be held in Fuzhou, further enhancing the cultural exchanges between Fujian Province and Asian countries, and promoting the implementation of Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement.

Under the theme of “Seeking the Imprint of the Silk Road”, the forum brought together over 50 experts and scholars of cultural heritage and museology from 25 museums in Fujian Province, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Japan and Republic of Korea, for experience sharing and discussion on the in-depth protection, inheritance, exchanges and cooperation in fields of cultural heritage and museology for the Silk Road in the format of remote interactive “cloud forum”.
