On August 30th, Fuzhou Airlines’ first jet with the “digital cabin” officially took off. The newly unveiled inflight Wi-Fi service marks Fuzhou Airlines’ entry into the “digital cabin” era.

To celebrate the debut of its "digital cabin" flight between Fuzhou and Lanzhou with a flight connection at Enshi, Fuzhou Airlines held an inflight themed activity, giving passengers a fresh exprerience of the wonderful inflight Wi-Fi.

Through the LAN installed on the plane, the "digital cabin" realizes the coverage of wireless network in the cabin. With just one click, the passengers can connect their mobile devices such  cellphones to enjoy the splendid digital world above clouds, watching pupular dramas, browsing news, listening to music and so on.

To foster the development of "smart civil aviation" with concrete actions, this year, Fuzhou Airlines has been carrying out the special modification project of installing LAN in passenger cabins. Its B5182 Aircraft successfully had its LAN upgrade completed, and was put into use. According to the plan, Fuzhou Airlines will gradually modify all its aircrafts for the cabin networks to finally achieve full Wi-Fi coverage. (Fuzhou Daily / Yu Shaolin and Mu Fangting)
