TIME:2021-05-28 15:30

On May 26, a 400,000-ton ore carrier "Yuanfuhai" from Brazil carrying Vale’s iron ore was moored at the No. 9 berth of Luoyu Port for the first time and put into operation, marking that the 400,000-ton-level Luoyu Port of Fujian Port Group has been officially put into service.

Luoyu port has therefore become the first port in Fujian and the sixth port in China to allow the world's largest 400,000-ton ore carrier to anchor and unload. Also, it’s the first 400,000-ton-level port at the south of Ningbo Port to be officially put into operation, which increased the competitiveness of Fujian ports and opened up a new logistics channel for the supply of raw materials in the southeastern area of China.
