Dakar, situated in Cape Verde Peninsula, east coast of Atlantic, is the capital of the Republic of Senegal. Dakar is the largest city as well as the center of politics, economy, culture and traffics in Senegal. It’s also the second largest port in West Africa. As the westernmost of African land, Dakar holds a crucial geographical location.
