  Nouadhibou, Mauritania

Nouadhibou is the second largest city in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and serves as a major commercial center due to its fishery and mining industry, the nation’s two economic arteries. Geographically, it’s located in the northwest coast of Africa, close to Europe and Africa. The advantage in regional position has made Nouahibou the nation’s window to the outside. With fishing port, commercial port and the exclusive port for iron sand export at its disposal, Nouadhibou become the largest export base in Mauritania. In recent years, the city has been conducting massive infrastructure construction.
