Lin Baojin and Wu Xiande welcome the delegation of Minister Sakti

Lin Baojin saidChina and Indonesia are both important developing countries along the "Belt and Road" and are good neighbours, friends and partners across the sea. In recent years, under the personal promotion of President Xi Jinping and President Joko, the two countries have reached a series of important consensuses on cooperation, forging a closer strategic partnership.

The hospitality and support received by Fuzhou’s economic and trade exchange delegation to Indonesia this February and the resulting signing of a series of quality projects are highly appreciated.

This year, as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, guided by the important instructions of President Xi Jinping, and in line with the requirements made by Zhou Zuyi, Secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, in his speech when he visited Indonesia, the city is committed to the construction of China-Indonesia “Two Countries Twin Parks”, marine development, and high-level opening-up, so as to speed up Fuzhou’s development into a modern international city.

The visit of Minister Sakti to Fuzhou represents an opportunity for us to strengthen project docking, industrial cooperation, and policy reciprocity, jointly promoting the “Two Countries Twin Parks” to yield more results and to become a new flagship project of the “Belt and Road”.

Minister Sakti thanked for the warm reception and spoke highly of the productive cooperation between Indonesia and Fujian and Fuzhou in various areas over the years. He said that Fuzhou, with its advantaged location and strong economic vitality, is a hot spot for investment and business. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, and Indonesia will take this as a new starting point to enhance the investment environment, continue to deepen practical cooperation with Fuzhou, Fujian in the fields of fisheries, economic and trade, tourism, etc., accelerate the implementation of a number of signed projects, and jointly promote the China-Indonesia “Two Countries Twin Parks” to become even more fruitful, playing up the complementary advantages for win-win development.
