In 2020, 175 new infrastructure projects including 5G base stations, artificial intelligence and industrial internet were carried out in Fuzhou, with a total investment of nearly 230 billion yuan. 

In Fuzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Fuzhou Strait Nebula Intelligent Manufacturing plant starts full mass production, planning to carry out demonstration projects for the full localization of computers. In the national Internet of Things (IoT) industry demonstration base in Mawei district, the three major IoT platforms were set up, more than 200 enterprises will join hands to promote the formulation of standards, product development, technological applications of the IoT. Fuzhou Software Park brings together more than 800 new technology enterprises in the field of software information, photoelectric chips and other areas, committed to turning Fuzhou into "China Digital Valley" .....

Fuzhou made full use of Digital China Summit as a platform and signed 334 digital economy projects with a total investment of 324.7 billion yuan. Also, Fuzhou introduced several leading digital economy enterprises such as Baidu, Ali, Jingdong and Bitmain, and facilitated the implementation of a batch of key projects of Huawei, Tencent and Byte Dance's regional headquarters in Fujian.
