Fuzhou Held a Video Conference with Gwangyang, Korea
On the afternoon of August 5 2020, Fuzhou held a video conference with its sister city in South Korea - Gwangyang. On the theme of “Dialogue on Work Resumption and Friendly Exchanges", participants discussed the challenges they are facing as well as the changes and innovative measures they have adopted under the current circumstances. Department representatives in areas including foreign affairs, industry and information technology, health, education, etc, shared their experience and achievements in epidemic prevention and control, resumption of work and production, and discussed how to carry on exchanges and cooperation in the post-pandemic period. During the meeting, both sides agreed to break a new ground amidst the changing situation, jointly promote mutual visits between the recreational agriculture and eco-tourism industries of the two cities, enhance mutual understanding as well as reach consensus on fields of cooperation as soon as possible. Meanwhile, they plan to expand exchanges between schools of all levels in the two cities with innovative forms and rich contents, so as to further deepen education cooperation between the two cities.
The government of Yongtai County was also invited to attend the conference.
