2021 Fuzhou International Fisheries Expo Kicked off with a Total Contract Value of 24.243 Billion Yuan

Fuzhou, June 3 (China News Service/Zheng Jiangluo, Long Min) -- 2021 Strait (Fuzhou) Fisheries Week·China (Fuzhou) International Fisheries Expo (referred to as "Fisheries Expo") kicked off on June 3 in Fuzhou.

351 enterprises participated in this year's "Fishery Expo", with a total of 1,750 exhibition stalls. It is learned that the scale of the exhibition was 46,000 square meters, covering the entire fishery and aquaculture industry and the peripheral industry chain. More than 50 industry associations and groups as well as 16,000 professional purchasers came to Fuzhou for business negotiations.



At the signing ceremony of key projects held on the same day, a total of 15 projects were signed, with a total contract value of 24.243 billion  (the same below), covering marine engineering, aquatic processing, cold chain logistics, offshore aquaculture, marine pasture, ship repair, cultural tourism, aquatic products purchase and sale, aquaculture, strategic cooperation and other industries.


Two of them are overseas aquaculture projects, namely, the South America white shrimp farming park project in Tanjung Manis, Malaysia and the “modernized deep-sea fish farming cooperation project in Seram Island, Indonesia, with a total investment of 1.6 billion and 1 billion yuan respectively.
